At the end of May there is an exciting conference in Silicon Valley of people interested in the social tools of the internet and the possibilities it offers for positive change. People were invited to send in proposals that
utilize the technologies, tools and communities of the social web to create societal impact in a sustainable fashion. Close to 150 proposals were sent in and 20 will be selected in the next week via an open nomination and voting process. The 20 selected projects will be invited to the conference and will receive special attention from those present.
NABUUR has also entered the global competition. It wasn't easy to make the descriptions and I am curious to hear your reactions. Please have a look at NABUUR on NetSquared and leave your comments. And don't forget to browse through all the other marvellous initiatives. Thanks!
