By looking for portraits that fit the criteria of a self-portrait, I identified three potential self-portraits in Leonardo's oeuvre: the home vitruvianus, the musician and the turin portrait. They are different in size, angle and technique. So I drew them at the same squale and from the same angle. Here is how he may have looked in profile and from 3/4 at the age of ca 17, ca 40 and ca 61.
